It's 8:45 and we're home...

Okay, so it's 8:30pm sunday night and we just got home from the hospital (still pregnant). The good news was that when we got there we found out that maggie's cervix was 1cm dilated. The frustrating part is that it's still only 1cm.

We were given several options and the one we chose was to go with a shot of morphine and an anti-nausea med to help her get some rest. the hope is that by the time it wears off, her cervix will be further along and we'll drive back to the hospital to be admitted. In the meantime, we're hoping she'll get some much needed sleep.

THANK YOU to everyone who've sent emails and blog-comments with kind words of encouragement for maggie. I'm reading them to her as they come in and they're putting huge smiles on her pained face.

gotta run.

love,

max

oh my beautifuls.... this is the dogger birth story! I am glued to my computer screen and feeling you all deeply in my heart. Mag, you are a warrior woman!!! You are so strong and beautiful! You and Ella and Max are going to find your way into each others arms.... she's coming, she's coming!!!

And...If you guys are still "chillin" in the morning I could come over for an hour and do some CranioSacral on mag... there are a few techniques I know to help open up the pelvis and relax mag. Harris doesn't go to work until 10 tomorrow morning, so give me a holler if you'd like me to come. (we'll be up by 6:30) And I totally respect your trippy sacred bubble space, so i'm happy to keep loving and supporting you from down the hill. I love you both so much!!! Ren

We have been talking about you, loving you, and checking this page and our cell phones all day so know that we are with you. We send strength and courage - both of which you have an abundance of. You are one of the bravest women I know and I am so proud of you already. And you look damn cute in these photos Mama. Soon this little girl will be here. Love you. Fern & Abe
